An Apprentice Field Technician Position is open at Integrated Home Systems, a leading residential electronics systems design, sales, installation and support firm. We are seeking motivated individuals with a desire to learn and install audio, video, lighting control, HVAC control and motorized devices in high end residential applications.

Successful Candidates will have the following:
Education: High School Graduate. Preferred: College level or courses in electronics, electrical engineering and/or construction.
Experience: No experience necessary Preferred: experience in electronic systems installation
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: In the fields of electronics and construction. Ability to work with people and follow procedures. Ability to read and understand schematic drawings and blueprints.
Physical Body Positions & Movements: Standing, sitting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, climbing, reaching and bending. Carrying (up to 100 pounds), use of hands, eyes, ears, arms, legs and voice. Mental: Requires ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Language reading, writing, in English

The responsibilities and duties of an Apprentice Field Technician are:
Performs electronic system installation labor. Reports directly to an Installation Manager.
Arrives on site prepared to begin work by 8:30 a.m. every morning in company uniform/shirt
Consistently perform eight(8) hours of installation labor daily.
Submit a properly completed Daily Field Report to the Installation Manager at the end of each work day.
Maintain professional conduct in all work situations and working conditions.
Performs inventory when required. Shop clean up when required.
Transportation Required and must have a valid license.
Working Conditions: Residential construction site locations. Inside and outside of personal residences.
